EMERGENCY CONSULTING

Sometimes, despite one’s best efforts, an adventure operator will have a disaster. We have previously assisted adventure operators with managing the disaster when they feel that they can’t see the wood for the trees and need someone detached from the disaster to help navigate their way through troubled waters. Our service includes assisting with liaison with police and other entities, conducting an internal investigation into the event, making recommendations to help prevent a recurrence, providing guidance with respect to getting the operation healthy and back on its feet, as well as a number of other aspects.

STUNT RIGGING /
AERIAL PERFORMER RIGGING

Over the years we have been involved in a number of film productions, commercials and television series, using our skills to provide the safety systems that keep stunt performers safe. We are one of the few remaining Johannesburg-based companies that does stunt (and aerial performer) rigging.

SAFETY WORK

Whether you are planning a film shoot or photo shoot in the mountains, or need help with marshals to assist with managing the tricky parts of an adventure race or trail run, we’ve got the experience to make it work.

SMALL ROPE-ACCESS TASKS

While it's not exactly mountaineering, Industrial Rope Access skills are derived from mountaineering and caving skills. We have the appropriate certification to carry out small tasks in difficult to reach places, and we're small enough to be willing to tackle those small jobs that the bigger companies don't consider worth their while.

DIFFICULT ACCESS

Our team is incredibly skilled at moving around in difficult terrain. Whether you have a quad-bike that has gone over an edge, or need to clean up after a tanker has rolled and dumped 10,000 litres of oil into a canyon, we’ve got you covered .

HELICOPTER SLING WORK

Helicopter cargo slinging is another of those skill sets that seems out of place for mountaineers, but the reality is that we have accumulated hundreds of hours of experience working in, around and under helicopters through our mountain rescue and stunt work exposure. We have successfully adapted these skills to the world of construction, coordinating helicopter slings loads of up to a ton each. During these operations we undertake the risk management on behalf of the construction company and the helicopter operator, filling the gap between them.
